Lindsey Rae Hawkes was born in Virginia in 1986 and grew up in a military family that moved often, eventually settling in Utah. Her upbringing balanced both city and country life, and today she enjoys quiet mornings horseback riding or gardening just as much as evenings dressed up for art galleries and fancy food. She lives in Utah with her husband and three children.
Lindsey’s early years taught her the value of hard work. Her family invested in real estate, and by her early teens, she was helping with home remodels—learning everything from roofing to tiling, and even the business side of things. She still manages a couple of rental properties and an Airbnb.
She’s always had a bit of an adventurous streak. Whether skydiving, snorkeling in places like Costa Rica and Hawaii, or heading out on spontaneous road trips, Lindsey finds joy in exploring. She dreams of seeing more of the world and one day hopes to visit Switzerland—or maybe even try van life.
Lindsey also lives with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which she was diagnosed with as a teenager. Managing a chronic illness has made her an advocate for invisible illnesses and mental health awareness.
After graduating from Utah State University in 2007 with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations, Lindsey worked with Army ROTC before becoming a full-time mom.
Creativity has always been part of her life. From photography and theater to organizing backyard plays with her siblings, Lindsey has long loved storytelling and visual art. That creative energy led her to start doing background work in film, just out of curiosity—but it quickly became something more. She began taking on larger roles, eventually signing with an agent and working in productions like Yellowstone. Her short hair has become part of her versatility, helping her portray a wide range of characters, including those needing wigs, bald caps, or special effects.
Modeling also became a natural extension of her on-camera work. Since then, she’s taught modeling and self-taping classes, led creative workshops, and helped others in the industry grow their skills. She’s been featured in several publications and enjoys supporting productions both in front of and behind the camera.
At the heart of it all, Lindsey is someone who thrives on connection, creativity, and challenge—whether that’s wrangling a family of five, building a photoshoot from scratch, or bringing a character to life on screen.
